New CEO for Imenco AS
Imenco AS is pleased to announce the appointment of Ingunn Øvereng Iveland as the new CEO. She will assume the position effective October 1, 2024. Øvereng Iveland has an impressive academic background with a master’s degree in mathematics and physics from NTNU, as well as a master’s in management and various finance subjects from BI/Insead. She also has extensive experience with board work in several companies.

Øvereng Iveland comes from the position as Head of Strategic Procurement at Knutsen OAS and has previous experience as COO at Scale, as well as leading various administrative departments at DeepOcean. She also serves on the board of Reach Subsea and has a broad and varied experience in the business sector.
Øvereng Iveland says she looks forward to getting to know the people and the organization both in Grinde and at Voll, and to getting out to meet the company’s customers to hear about their experiences and expectations. She further highlights Imenco’s strong position in the market, both nationally and internationally:

Øvereng Iveland is also impressed by Imenco’s product portfolio and presence in several markets, including the oil and energy sector, which gives the company a solid and stable base. “Based on this and the knowledge I have so far about Imenco, I see growth opportunities in both existing and new markets. I look forward to further familiarizing myself with Imenco’s portfolio and organization and, together with the employees, identifying opportunities for new growth areas,” says Øvereng Iveland.
