Kristian J. Mayon, Vice President of Imenco LLC, Americas

Imenco Future Technologies’ American Division, Imenco, LLC, has entered into an agreement to acquire the American Distributor and Sales Agent,  Gardner Technologies, Inc (GTI). The company is based in Annapolis, Maryland just outside Washington DC and is an experienced and recognized player in the defense industry. With this acquisition, Imenco strengthens its position as a leading supplier of advanced technology solutions to the defense, offshore, renewable energy and maritime sectors in the U.S. market.

Gardner Technologies has a solid track record of deliveries to the U.S. defense and offshore industries. The company delivered the first CCTV system to the US Military Sealift Command in 2004 and has since been a key supplier of solutions and technology to the US Navy and US Coast Guard. Through a long-term IDIQ production contract with NAVAIR, Imenco Future technology and GTI have developed and delivered the Digital Helicopter Operations Surveillance System (DHOSS) for several US Navy ship classes.

-We’ve experienced a strong demand for the products & services of Imenco across several markets and market segments, and we therefore believe the acquisition of GTI will create many new opportunities in the U.S. Market, says Kristian J. Mayon, Vice President of Imenco LLC, Americas.

GTI also has extensive experience in supplying spare and replacement parts for US Navy Amphibious Ships, as well as specialized subsea cameras for advanced ROV systems, including classified platforms for the US Navy. The company has further supplied tow cables and connectors for deep underwater systems and underwater cables for critical infrastructure. The company has also collaborated with customers such as NASA, the US Navy, the US Army, and Boeing Helicopter Division.
