Imenco to Deliver Advanced Camera Systems for Major Baltic Wind Project Powering Millions
Imenco Future Technologies is pleased to announce a substantial contract to supply a comprehensive suite of marine camera systems for a major offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea. In partnership with Semco Maritime, a leading offshore engineering company, this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting sustainable energy development.
The Baltica 2 Offshore Wind Farmproject, one of Poland’s largest renewable energy initiatives, will feature 107 wind turbines with a total capacity of approximately 1.5 GW. Once operational in 2027, the project has the capacity to supply clean energy with the equivalent of the annual power consumption of around 2.5 million households.
The camera systems will be produced at Imenco Marine & Naval in Aberdeen, UK, and are designed for demanding offshore environments. They offer high-quality IP video streaming with low latency, contributing to enhanced safety, security, and operational efficiency in support of Semco Maritime’s engineering and project execution standards.
