One of the world’s largest manufacturers of ROVs recently ran a series of independent tests comparing subsea cameras from all the main suppliers. The purpose of these tests was to determine the best cameras to fit their future fleet of ROVs. Among the variety of suppliers Imenco’s Bull Shark HD-SDi camera and Hammerhead Shark SD Colour Zoom camera came out top of the scorecard.
Imenco AS, a major engineering, procurement and commissioning contractor to the maritime offshore industry, has appointed Mr. Pål Schiefloe as their new CEO effective from February 10, 2014. Mr. Schiefloe takes over from Mr. Geir Egil Østebøvik. Østebøvik will still play an active role in Imenco, but formally as Chairman of the Board.
