US Navy DHOSS Camera Systems for NAWCAD Lakehurst, New Jersey, USA
IMENCO Defence Solutions announced a recent major award for a fixed price, 5-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIR) Lakehurst, Visual Landing Aids Group.
The program objective is acquisition and support of rugged Imenco DHOSS and ODIN Naval Camera Stations to support Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment’s (ALRE) PMA251 Visual Landing Aids (VLA) Programs. The Imenco Camera Stations aid in providing low-light surveillance, recording and video distribution of flight deck and surrounding airspace on USN aircraft carriers, frigates and amphibious-class ships. The Imenco VLA Camera Stations further support safe flight operation and mishap investigations.
Imenco are delighted to be able to build on our expertise of supplying the previous analogue HOSS based systems to the US Navy for the past 25 years. The Imenco DHOSS and ODIN Naval Pan, Tilt & Zoom (PTZ) Camera Stations have recently gone through months of rigorous qualifications before they were successfully accepted by NAVAIR.
