Korea, Philippines Navy Corvettes CCTV Systems
IMENCO Defence Solutions, announced a recent major contract award from Electrix Co. Ltd, South Korea for the supply of CCTV systems to the Philippines Navy Future Corvettes programme. The contract covers two new ships being constructed at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) facilities.
The Philippines’ Department of National Defense (DND) signed a contract with South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries on 28 December 2021, with the shipbuilder delivering a variant of their HDC-3100/HDF-3100 corvette/frigate design.
Electrix are the authorised representative of Imenco Visual Surveillance Solutions within South Korea. The first system was delivered in 2023 with 2nd ship in 2024.
