Inside Sales Administrator – Imenco Houston (TX ,USA)
The Inside Sales Administrator provides crucial administrative support to Imenco’s sales team, ensuring the sales process runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is the organizational backbone of the sales department, handling the clerical and operational tasks that free up sales representatives to focus on closing deals and cultivating client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Process Coordination: Receive and process requests for quotations, purchase orders, and sales orders. Liaise with internal teams to ensure the transition of sales orders from sales to operations.
Project Assistance: Provide administrative support for special projects or marketing initiatives, such as following up on leads from trade shows. This role will also coordinate tradeshow planning and logistics between the U.S. branch and the global IFT branch to ensure consistent branding, communication, and execution.
- Customer Support: Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email. Address questions, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Records and Database Management: Maintain and update sales and customer records in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure all information is accurate and current.
- Reporting: Compile and generate regular sales reports, including performance metrics and sales forecasts, for the sales team and management.
- Sales Team Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, such as preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations.
- Internal Communication: Facilitate communication between the sales team and other departments, including marketing, finance, and logistics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business preferred
- Skilled in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for updating customer records, tracking interactions, and managing leads
- Familiarity with the sales cycle, lead generation, and general business administration
- 2-3 years minimum relevant experience, within the oil and gas industry preferred
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and a keen eye for detail to process orders accurately, manage records, and handle documentation.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
